Greyhound or Megabus, which bus is better?
I’m going to be perfectly honest. It’s been a long day, I haven’t eaten dinner yet and I’m not really feeling like writing a blog post.
So I’m just going to let the video I made about this subject do the talking for me. If you are on this page sometime in the future and instead of seeing this there is a real blog post here then I’ve gotten off my lazy butt and updated this page. If not, I apologize but I promise you the information in the video is worth the watch.
Btw, leave a lengthy comment and let me know which bus line you think is better. Yes, I realize that I am asking you to do more writing than I’ve done on this post but you are probably a better person than me. Plus you don’t work out in the Florida sun…
Great video on how Greyhound and Megabus are different. I love how each have WiFi, and do like how Greyhound has a lot more stations/routes, but while on the East Coast i do love Megabus. Anyways, thank you for the details between the two carriers!

Within the industry, Megabus and similar operations are known as ‘parasite carriers.’ They invest in slick advertising, have a few nice coaches and invest nothing else into the Cities they operate into. Greyhound, Trailways, Jefferson, Peter Pan etc. Invest in their communities, offer stations, many with snack bars, game rooms, security, TV’s, full ticketing and checked baggage as well as competitive package express services. Greyhounds new equipment is the Prevost Coach which is considered the gold standard in intercity coaches. I was a Transportation Supervisor for Tamiami Trailways and feel like the Prevost is the only coach that gets close to the Eagle 10-20 coaches for ride quality. I enjoyed your comments and will further explore your site. Let me know if I can Ander any ‘insider questions.’
